Leslie W. Fuller

Leslie W. Fuller, 88, of 747 Williams St. died Sunday at Kimball Farms Nursing Center in Lenox, where he had been a patient since July 22.

Born in Springfield on Nov. 5, 1914, son of Perley and Lottie Jennings Fuller, he attended schools in Munson.

He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

Mr. Fuller was employed by GE for 32 years as a stationary engineer in the power house. He retired in 1974.

A talented musician, he could play most instruments, but mainly played the organ and accordion.

He and his wife, the former Ellen Freehan, celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary Aug. 9.

Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Roy L. Fuller of Rochester, N.Y., and David A. Fuller of Brentwood, Tenn.; four sisters, Bernice Scott of Westfield, and Bessie Scott, Florence Dyer and Ruby Schrade, all of Munson, and two grandchildren.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Leslie W. Fuller will be held at a later date at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME. Following cremation, burial will be in Pittsfield Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours. A brother, Perley Fuller, and a sister, Ruth Jefferson, predeceased him. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Alzheimer’s Research in care of the funeral home, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
