Anita M. Quirico, 69, of 123 Lucia Drive died Thursday at Berkshire Place, where she was admitted March 6.
Born in Pittsfield on Aug. 19, 1933, daughter of James J. and Florina Alberti Quirico, she graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1950 and attended Bay Path Junior College in Longmeadow.
Miss Quirico was employed by GE in the ordnance department for 21 years, retiring in 1986.
Before that, she was a secretary for Judge Charles R. Alberti and for Superior Court Judge Charles R. Alberti Jr., and for three years for attorney Andrew T. Campoli.
She was a communicant of Mount Carmel Church.
She leaves a sister, Lucia M. Wing of Scarsdale, N.Y.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Anita M. Quirico, 69, who died Thursday, June 26, 2003, will be Monday, June 30, 2003, at 9 from FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at Mount Carmel Church celebrated by the Rev. William Eckert, parochial vicar of St. Mark’s Church.
Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday, June 29, from 4 to 6. Loving sister of Lucia M. Wing. Cherished aunt of Eric J. Wing, her caregiver, and his wife, Mary, of North Salem, N.Y. Other survivors include two grandnieces, Meghan and Kelly Wing; a grandnephew, James Wing; uncle John C. and aunt Mary A. Quirico of Pittsfield, and several cousins.
