Elizabeth A. Raymaakers, 66, of 95 Imperial Ave. died Saturday at Berkshire Medical Center after a long illness.
Born in Pittsfield on Oct. 8, 1936, daughter of Joseph and Evelyn Hoffman Condi, she was a 1954 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Raymaakers was employed as a substitute secretary at Pittsfield High School for many years.
She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and enjoyed tole painting.
She and her husband, Robert Raymaakers, celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary April 23. They were married at St. Joseph’s Church.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Scott Raymaakers of Pittsfield; three daughters, Donna Coskren of North Reading, Lynne Baltz of Franklin and Kristen Raymaakers of Pittsfield; a brother, Joseph Condi of Pittsfield, and eight grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Betty Raymaakers will be lovingly missed by her eight grandchildren, Tara, Heidi, Eric, Mikaela, Megan, Shane, Matthew and Emma. The funeral for Mrs. Raymaakers, who died Saturday, April 26, 2003, will be Wednesday at 10:15 from DERY FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 at Sacred Heart Church celebrated by the Rev. James K. Joyce, pastor.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be tomorrow, April 29, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Gilda Radner Familial Ovarian Cancer Registry in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
