Anna Farina, 90, of 100 Second St. died yesterday morning at home.
Born in the Bronx, N.Y., on June 14, 1912, daughter of Peter and Veglia Cassella Pignone, she graduated from New York City schools.
Mrs. Farina was employed as a seamstress by the former Coat Factory for 15 years, retiring in 1960.
She was a communicant of Mount Carmel Church and enjoyed cooking and crocheting.
Her husband, Vincenzo F. Farina, whom she married Oct. 13, 1941, died Sept. 16, 1998.
She leaves a son, James A. Farina Sr. of Pittsfield, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Anna Farina, who died Monday, April 14, 2003, was predeceased by two brothers and a sister.
She leaves two grandsons, Brian M. Farina Sr. and James A. Farina Jr., two granddaughters, Karen Farina and Kim Farina, and three great-grandchildren, Brian M. Farina Jr., Ashley L. Farina and Naveglia Farina.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 16, at 10 in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, with the Rev. John Ford of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church officiating.
Those attending are invited to meet inside the cemetery gate at 9:45. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mount Carmel Church in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
