Anne Y. Forfa Juliano, 79, of 31 Boylston St. died Friday evening at home.
Born in Pittsfield on Dec. 15, 1923, daughter of Lionel and Alice Snow Gagnon, she was a 1941 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
During World War II, Mrs. Juliano was a machinist at GE. She was a waitress at the former Frankie Martin's Steak House for many years.
She was a communicant of Mount Carmel Church and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America Bowling League. She was also a longtime volunteer for the American Red Cross.
Her first husband, Joseph W. Forfa, died in October 1948. Her husband, Frank Juliano, died in 2000.
She leaves five daughters, Marilyn A. Boesse of North Adams, Judith C. Barcher of Hinsdale, and Kathaleen M. Meyers, Patricia J. Rossi and Victoria A. Mathes, all of Pittsfield; four sons, Frank L. Juliano of Gardner, and William R. Juliano, Gerald J. Juliano and John T. Juliano, all of Pittsfield; two sisters, Patricia O'Donnell of Glastonbury, Conn., and Judith Medieras of Pownal, Vt.; 25 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Anne Y. Juliano, 79, died in Pittsfield on Friday, March 7, 2003. The funeral will be conducted Wednesday, March 12, at 9:30 at DWYER FUNERAL HOME, 776 North St., by the Rev. Geoffrey J. Deeker CSS, pastor of Mount Carmel Church. Calling hours at the funeral home will be tomorrow, March 11, from 4 to 7. If friends desire, donations in her memory may be made to the Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
