Christopher Dale Hisert, 30, of 214 Francis Ave., died Monday at his home.
Born in Pittsfield on Aug. 11, 1972, son of Robert D. Hisert of Pittsfield and Linda A. Brian Hisert Murach of Cheshire, he was a 1991 graduate of Hoosac Valley High School and attended Daniel Webster College in Nashua, N.H. He had resided in Cheshire and North Adams before moving to Pittsfield a year ago.
He had served in the National Guard. Mr. Hisert had been employed as a laborer by Unistress. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Besides his parents, he leaves two sons, Christopher D. Hisert II and Rutger A. Hisert; two brothers, Robert M. Hisert of Troy, N.Y., and Brian J. Hisert of Cheshire; his maternal grandparents, Ardon and Delores Ambrose of Montesano, Wash., and his paternal grandmother, Joyce Hisert of Lakeworth, Fla.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Christopher Dale Hisert, who died Monday, March 3, 2003, also leaves his mother's husband, Marc Murach, and his father's significant other, Jane Ann Shaw. The family will receive friends Friday, March 7, from 4 to 7 at DERY FUNERAL HOME in Pittsfield.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Berkshire Council on Alcoholism in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
