Kristin Foster Currier, 34, of 184 H. Murray Hill Road, Southern Pines, N.C., formerly of Lenox, died yesterday at home.
Born in Chapel Hill, N.C., on Feb. 19, 1969, she was the daughter of Randy Dempsey and Paula Currier. She moved to Lenox as a child with her family and attended schools here. She moved back to North Carolina about 14 years ago.
She was a certified nursing assistant and a student at Sandhills Community College, studying for a registered nursing certification.
Besides her father of Nashville, Tenn., and mother of Pinehurst, N.C., she leaves her husband, Michael McCrimmon; a brother, Joshua Dempsey of Nashville; two sisters, Jordan Dempsey and Jesse Dempsey, both of Nashville, and her maternal grandparents, James and Eleanor Morrisey of Pinehurst.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- A memorial service for Kristin Foster Currier will be held Saturday at 2 at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Southern Pines, N.C., with the Rev. Talmadge Bandy, officiating. Memorials may be made to The Haven No-kill Animal Shelter, 400 Fulford-McMillan Road, Raeford, NC 28376. SANDHILLS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, Aberdeen, N.C., is in charge of arrangements.
