Marie Rose Beaulieu

Marie Rose Beaulieu, 82, formerly of High Street, died Sunday at Hillcrest Commons in Pittsfield, where she had resided since May 2001.
Born in Bennington, Vt., on Aug. 13, 1920, daughter of John and Angelina Shaldone Ottaviano, she attended the former St. Francis de Sales School there. She had resided in Dalton since 1972, and had previously lived in Pittsfield.
Mrs. Beaulieu had been employed by the former England Brothers department store, the former Value Mart and the Pittsfield Girls' Club.
She was a communicant of St. Agnes' Church and was an avid bingo player.
Her husband, Jean P. "Woodie" Beaulieu, whom she married Feb. 12, 1944, died March 8, 1999.
She leaves a son, Gene A. Beaulieu of Dalton; a daughter, Sandra A. Beaulieu of Dalton; two sisters, Assunta "Sunda" Caslin of Bennington and Lucina "Puss" Bartolomas of Albany, N.Y.; two brothers, Guy Ottaviano and John Ottaviano, both of Bennington; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Marie R. Ottaviano Beaulieu, 82, who died Jan. 19, 2003, will be Thursday, Jan. 23, at 9:30 from DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 East Main St., Dalton, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 at St. Agnes' Church by the Rev. Christopher Malatesta, pastor.
Burial will follow in Ashuelot Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 8:30 until the time of the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders or to HospiceCare of the Berkshires, both in care of the funeral home.
Beloved mother of Gene A. Beaulieu and Sandra A. Beaulieu. Adored grandmother of Virginia M. Lombardi of Windsor, Jeffrey M. Beaulieu of Pittsfield, Jeanna M. Craft of Pittsfield, Joseph J. Beaulieu of Dorchester, Robyn M. Leszczynski of Salem and Jean-Anthony "Tony" Beaulieu of South Boston. Cherished great-grandmother of Ryan, Kelton and Padraig Dougherty of Windsor.
