Charles M. "Rusty" Kennedy, 53, of 51 Sadler Ave. died Saturday morning at home.
Born in Pittsfield on March 29, 1949, son of Charles E. and Agnes L. Hanrath Kennedy, he graduated in 1967 from St. Joseph's High School, in 1971 from American International College, and in 1977 from the University of Massachusetts with a master's degree in business administration.
He was employed at one time by Berkshire Life Insurance Co. as a pension specialist and by Berkshire Armored Car as controller. He was disabled in 1978 as the result of a motorcycle accident.
He leaves five brothers, Peter Kennedy, Christopher Kennedy, Philip Kennedy and Anthony Kennedy, all of Pittsfield, and Michael Kennedy of Chicopee; and four sisters, Agnes Spence and Mary Ricchi, both of Pittsfield, Francine Clairmont of Adams and Kathleen Curletti of Carolina Beach, N.C.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Charles M. "Rusty" Kennedy, 53, died Jan. 18, 2003. Calling hours will be today, Jan. 20, from 4 to 7 at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:15 at the funeral home, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 at St. Mary of the Morning Star Church celebrated by the Rev. Christopher Malatesta, pastor of St. Agnes' Church.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Church or HospiceCare of the Berkshires, both in care of the funeral home, 40 Maplewood Ave., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
