Bernard J. Radke

December 15, 2002

Bernard J. Radke, 52, of 200 Gale Ave. died Sunday at home.

Born in Pittsfield on Nov. 27, 1950, son of Bernard F. and Bertha Hatch Radke, he was a 1969 graduate of Pittsfield High School.

Mr. Radke was employed as a millwright at Kimberly-Clark Corp. in Lee for 10 years. Before that, he worked at the former Sheaffer-Eaton Paper Co.

He was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church and enjoyed playing the guitar.

He leaves a daughter, Kali Radke of Pittsfield; two brothers, Bruce Radke of Pittsfield and Neil Radke of Lanesboro, and a sister, Dale Boulais of Pittsfield.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Bernard J. Radke will be conducted Thursday at 11 at Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church by the Rev. Dr. Peter Boehringer, pastor. Burial will be at a later date in Pittsfield Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
