Alba Aulisi, 87, formerly of 33 Terrace Ave., died Tuesday at Hillcrest Commons, where she had resided since 1999.
Born in Chiampo, province of Vicenza, Italy, on April 17, 1915, daughter of Pietro and Lucia Marchesini Tibaldo, she attended schools there. She emigrated to the United States in 1937.
A homemaker, Mrs. Aulisi was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. Her husband, Peter Aulisi, whom she married Nov. 26, 1964, died Jan. 17, 1999.
She leaves seven stepdaughters, Antoinette Monroe, Rose Gennari, Eleanor Coughlin, Mary Coughlan and Lucy Aulisi, all of Pittsfield, Lena Rische of Cheshire and Anna Corino of Rialto, Calif.; a sister, Elisa Tibaldo of Italy; 30 stepchildren, 38 step-great-grandchildren and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Alba Tibaldo Aulisi, 87, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002. Funeral services will take place Friday, Dec. 13, at 8:30 from the FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9:30 at Mount Carmel Church.
Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home.
