Francis Carl Boschetti

Francis Carl Boschetti, 75, of 42 Lillian St. died yesterday at the Berkshire Medical Center skilled nursing facility.

Born in Pittsfield on April 12, 1927, son of John and Mary Parrino Boschetti, he was a 1945 graduate of Pittsfield High School. He was an Army veteran of World War II..

He was employed by GE for 39 years, retiring in 1989 as a master scheduler.

Mr. Boschetti was a communicant of Mount Carmel Church. He was a member of the GE Quarter Century, Pensioners and Foremans clubs, the Berkshire County Association for Retarded Citizens and the Berkshire Humane Society. An avid reader, he enjoyed military history.

He leaves his wife, the former Florence E. Folmsbee, whom he married Oct. 11, 1952; four sons, Richard C. Boschetti of Pittsfield, David F. Boschetti of Portland, Maine, Steven R. Boschetti of Ukiah, Calif., and James R. Boschetti of Lanesboro; two daughters, Judith Ann Boschetti King of Lenoxdale and Lisa Ann Boschetti of Lanesboro; a brother, Robert Boschetti of Pittsfield; a sister, Claire Boschetti of Pittsfield; and four grandchildren. Another daughter, Susan Marie Boschetti, died in 1962.

FUNERAL NOTICE -- Services for Francis C. Boschetti, 75, who died Nov. 5, 2002, will be held Friday at 10:15 from the DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 at Mount Carmel Church, celebrated by the Rev. Geoffrey Deeker, C.S.S., pastor.

Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 7 at the Dery Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Berkshire County Association for Retarded Citizens or to the Berkshire Humane Society, both in care of the funeral home.

Mr. Boschetti is survived by his four adored grandchildren, Jessica Patterson, Caitlin Brennan, Dominic Boschetti and Sydney King. He was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Susan Marie Boschetti in 1962, and by his sister, Joan Boschetti.
