Marya A. McNally, 87, of Pine Hill Retirement Com-munity at Kimball Farms died yesterday morning at Kimball Farms Nursing Care Facility, where she had resided since 2000.
Born in Jersey City, N.J., on Jan. 7., 1915, daughter of Max and Alexandra Kozak Ostascheski, she was educated there and graduated from high school in Elmira, N.Y. She attended Cornell University as part of the 4-H Extension Training Program.
Mrs. McNally was employed in the advertising department of the Milwaukee Journal for 12 years. Before that, she was manager of the womenswear department at Dillard's Department Store in Naples, Fla., for 18 years. She retired in 2000.
She enjoyed politics. Her husband, Harold J. McNally, whom she married Aug. 14, 1939, died in 1979.
She leaves a son, Douglas McNally of Windsor, principal of Taconic High School; two daughters, Judith Warner of Santa Fe, N.M., and Janet McNally of Lake Lure, N.C., and two grandchildren.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Marya A. McNally, 87, died Oct. 28, 2002. There will be no calling hours. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Mrs. McNally enjoyed politics and launching her career later in life.
