Ronald L. Scace, 66, of 21 Perrine Ave. died Saturday at home. Born in Pittsfield on June 7, 1936, son of Raymond L. and Gladys M. Musgrove Scace, he was a 1953 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
He was employed by Stop & Shop for the past 10 years. He worked in retail for many years at Michael's House of Shoes, Wal-Mart and Cumberland Farms. He was a member of the National, State and Pittsfield Grange 14, the Civil Defense and the 4-H Club.
He leaves a brother, James R. Scace of Bothell, Wash.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for James R. Scace will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial of his cremains will be in Pittsfield Cemetery. Public calling hours will be today, Wednesday, from 4 to 7 at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the American Foundation for AIDS Research in care of the funeral home at 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
