Alison M. Kittler, 76, of 77 Partridge Road died Monday at Craneville Place in Dalton.
Born in Deolali, India, on Jan. 12, 1926, daughter of Arthur and Alison McMorran Jones, she moved to Scotland and attended schools in Glasgow. She had resided in Pittsfield since 1946.
A homemaker, she was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
Her husband, Kenneth E. Kittler, whom she married Oct. 5, 1945, in London, England, died in 1979.
She leaves a daughter, Helen M. Lear of Pittsfield; two sisters, Joy M. Beavis of Pissouri Village, Cyprus, and Helen M. Jacobs of Finchley, England, and one granddaughter.
Services will be held on Saturday at noontime in the WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., Pittsfield, with the Rev. Carl K. Towley officiating. Following cremation, burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the WGBY Public Broadcasting Television Station, 44 Hamden St., Springfield, MA 01103, in Mrs. Kittler's memory.
