Ronald Lapin

Ronald Lapin, 70, of 7754 Glendevon Lane, Delray Beach, Fla., died Tuesday of heart failure at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield. He was a summer resident of Richmond since 1985.
Born in Oceanside, N.Y., on July 6, 1932, son of Jack and Francese Jacobson Lapin, he was a graduate of Lynbrook High School. He earned a bachelor of arts degree from Alfred University in 1954.
He was employed as a financial planner and marketing consultant, retiring in 1990. He enjoyed duplicate bridge, golf, computers and cooking.
He leaves his wife, Lenore Lapin, whom he married Dec. 28, 1954, in Merrick, N.Y.; a son, Todd Lapin of Raleigh, N.C.; a daughter, Debbie Freire of Berkeley Heights, N.J.; a sister, Penny Kanter of Stamford, Conn., and three grandchildren.
