E. Henry Campoli

E. Henry A. Campoli, 85, formerly of 903 Dalton Ave., died yesterday at Craneville Place in Dalton.
Born in Pittsfield on April 27, 1917, son of Joseph and Marietta Scurpa Campoli, he was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.
He was employed in the ordnance department at GE for 39 years, the last of which he spent as a planner and methods man. He retired in 1979.
Mr. Campoli was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church and a member of its Holy Name Society.
His wife, the former Yvonne L. Daverin, whom he married Oct. 24, 1939, died Feb. 13, 1998.
He leaves three sons, Peter H. Campoli of Bedford, the Rev. Timothy J. Campoli of Greenfield and James P. Campoli of Tamarac, Fla.; two daughters, Suzanne L. White of Tucson, Ariz., and SallyAnne M. Hitt of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; a brother, Alexander Campoli of Pittsfield, 11 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 at St. Francis Xavier Church, with the Rev. Timothy Campoli, pastor of Blessed Sacrament Church, Greenfield, as principal celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to Blessed Sacrament Church in Greenfield in care of the funeral home, 40 Maplewood Ave., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
