Frederick Warren

Frederick L. Warren, 50, of 17 Bakers Island died Sunday at home.
Born in Northampton on Jan. 18, 1952, son of Frederick R. and Elizabeth Landon Warren, he was a graduate of Smith Academy in Hatfield. He also graduated from Mount St. Mary's College in Maryland with a bachelor's degree in English. In May 2001, he graduated with an associate's degree in nursing from Berkshire Community College, where he was class salutatorian and a member of the honor society.
He was employed as a human services counselor at Sullivan and Associates for five years. In December 2001, he became employed at BMC as a registered nurse, leaving because of ill health.
He enjoyed fishing, boating and gardening.
He leaves his fiancée, Debra Sondrini, with whom he resided; three sons, Frederick L. Warren Jr. of Easthampton and Kevin Warren and Curtis Warren, both of South Deerfield; and two brothers, Russell Warren of Greenwich, Conn., and Richard Warren of Pittsfield.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 10 at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME with the Rev. Dean Nowotny, pastor of Christian Assembly Church in Pittsfield, officiating. Burial of his cremains will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 4 to 7. Among survivors is his aunt, Mrs. Marjorie Warren of Lenox. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Keenan House in care of the funeral home at 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
