James F. Pierce

James F. Pierce, 55, of 221 Cheshire Road died Saturday evening at Albany (N.Y.) Medical Center.
Born in Rochester, N.Y., on May 2, 1947, son of Richard F. Pierce and Virginia Carrado Pierce Joyner, he attended local schools and was a 1965 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mr. Pierce was employed as a technician at Ecolab prior to his recent retirement and also had worked for Mead Paper Co.
He enjoyed boating, fishing and doing home repairs. An accomplished musician, he played drums in a local band as a teen-ager.
He leaves two brothers, Joseph P. Cadenelli of New Baltimore, N.Y., and Richard T. Cadenelli of Pittsfield, and his fiancée, Karen M. Lemieux.
There will be no calling hours, and a private funeral service will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the American Heart Association in care of DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME.
