Ola L. Provost, 93, of 91 Clarkson Ave. died yesterday at Springside of Pittsfield.
Born in Pittsfield on April 15, 1909, daughter of Charles and Emily Churchill Williams, she was educated in local schools.
She was employed by GE as an assembler in the plastics division for 33 1/2 years, retiring in 1972.
Mrs. Provost was a member of the Immanuel Community Church and the GE Quarter Century Club.
Her husband, Arthur Provost, is deceased.
She leaves two daughters, Phyllis Krupka of Pittsfield and Marie Blake of Peru; a sister, Harriet Rufo of West Lebanon, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 40 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Howard O. Blake, and is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday at 10 in the WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., with the Rev. Angela Buchauer, interim pastor of the Immanuel Community Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Cemetery of the Evergreens, Lebanon, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Immanuel Community Church Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
