Rosemary A. Naughton, 76, of 97 Connecticut Ave. died Sunday evening at Hillcrest Commons, where she had been a patient since July 1.
Born in Pittsfield on Jan. 31, 1926, daughter of Pittsfield Police Detective R. Lawrence Naughton and Marion Farrell Naughton, she was a 1944 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Miss Naughton was employed by General Electric Co. in the power transformer department before transferring to the document printing operations office in ordnance systems. She retired in 1989 with 40 years of service.
She was a golfer and enjoyed bowling and bird watching.
She leaves six nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by her brother, Lawrence R. Naughton, and her sister, Marjorie N. Barry.
Calling hours at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME will be today from 4 to 7. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:15 from the funeral home, followed by a Liturgy of Christina Burial at 11 at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires or to the Berkshire Humane Society, both in care of the funeral home.
