Dorothy M. Potter, 51, of 80 Bay State Road died Monday at home after a brief illness.
Born in Stewartstown, N.H., daughter of Richard Smith and Warnetta L. Potter, she attended schools there and moved to the Berkshires as a young woman.
Miss Potter was employed by Goodwill Industries in the agency's retail stores, first on North Street and later at Merrill Road. She retired from there recently due to ill health.
She enjoyed singing, karaoke, dancing, and entertaining her friends and housemates.
She leaves aunts, uncles and cousins, all in New Hampshire.
A celebration of her life will be observed Friday at noon at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME. Friends are invited to gather at the funeral home beginning at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to BFAIR in care of the funeral home.
