Jane Perry

Jane O'Gara Perry, 70, of 72 Oak St. Ext. died Wednesday evening at the home of her daughter, Diane M. Kelly, at 227 Raymond Ave., Dalton.
Born in Pittsfield on Feb. 13, 1932, daughter of Martin and Katherine Dwyer O'Gara, she was a graduate of the former Dalton High School.
Mrs. Perry was a homemaker.
A communicant of St. Agnes' Church, she enjoyed spending time with her family and going out to lunch.
Her husband, Albert L. Perry, whom she married Sept. 30, 1956, in St. Agnes' Church, died Sept. 1, 1981.
Besides her daughter, she leaves a son, Steve J. Perry of Dalton; four other daughters, Kathleen Bacon and Nancy J. Duncan, both of Dalton, Dr. Linda M. Perry of Lanesboro and Susan Fitzgerald of Hinsdale; two brothers, Martin O'Gara of Danvers and John O'Gara of Lake Worth, Fla.; two sisters, Catherine O'Gara of Dalton and Mary Pelt of St. Augustine, Fla., and 18 grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, James O'Gara, who died in November 1999.
The funeral will be Saturday, June 15, at 9:15 from DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 at St. Agnes' Church, Dalton, by the Rev. Daniel B. Brunton. Burial will follow in Ashuelot Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be today from 4 to 8. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Perry may be made to St. Agnes' Church or to the Dalton Fire Department in care of the funeral home, 890 East Main St., Dalton, MA 01226.
