Julia M. Kolano, 88, of Davis Street, Ludlow, died Saturday at HealthSouth Hospital in Ludlow. She was the mother of Patricia E. Brien of Pittsfield.
Born in Wilbraham on Nov. 1, 1913, she was the daughter of Joseph and Aniela Kaczowka Witowski.
Her husband, John S. "Dave" Kolano, died Aug. 4, 1991.
Besides her daughter, she leaves another daughter, Lorraine A. Sagan of Ludlow; two sisters, Lottie Prorok of Ludlow and Isabel Wojcik of Springfield; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Wednesday, June 12, at 9 from KAPINOS-MAZUR FUNERAL HOME, 64 Sewall St., Ludlow (expanded off-street parking), with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at Christ the King Church at 10. Burial in St. Aloysius' Cemetery. Friends may call tomorrow, June 11, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
