Dolores Stella Saydlowski, 72, of 48 Doreen St. died Thursday evening at home.
Born in Northampton on April 22, 1930, daughter of Constanti and Mary Regula Pronowicz, she graduated from Northampton schools.
Primarily a homemaker, she was employed by Textron in Northampton and at the former England Brothers Department Store at one time.
She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.
Her husband, Robert C. Saydlowski Sr., whom she married July 30, 1949, died Sept. 29, 1991.
She leaves two sons, Robert C. Saydlowski Jr. of Richmond, Va., and Eric J. Saydlowski of Pittsfield; a sister, Nancy Pajonk of Northampton, and three grandchildren.
At Mrs. Saydlowski's request, there will be no formal funeral. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, June 5, at 1:30 at St. Joseph's Cemetery by the Rev. Paul Laflamme, parochial vicar of Sacred Heart Church. Those attending are invited to meet inside the cemetery gate at 1:15. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield.
