Elizabeth E. McGrath, 82, of 43 Wahconah Heights died Sunday at the Great Barrington Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Jan. 24, 1920, daughter of Mortimer and Ora Hotailing Reed, she was a 1938 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pittsfield.
Her husband, Arthur McGrath, whom she married June 21, 1946, died April 29, 1972.
She leaves a daughter, Julia Adams of Waldoboro, Maine, and two sisters, Rose Ingalls of Pittsfield and Dorothy Breyer of St. Petersburg, Fla.
Graveside services will be Saturday, June 1, at 11 at the Pittsfield Cemetery. Those planning on attending should meet inside the gate of Pittsfield Cemetery at 10:45. The Rev. Roger Davis of First United Methodist Church will be officiating. There are no calling hours. The DWYER FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the Harvest Table of United Methodist Church in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home.
