Delia Hatch

Delia Hatch, 88, of 31 Bradford St. died yesterday morning at Springside of Pittsfield, where she had resided for one day.
Born in Claremont, N.H., on May 26, 1913, daughter of Joseph and Georgiana Bombadier King, she attended schools in North Pownal, Vt. She had been a resident of Pittsfield for 57 years.
Mrs. Hatch was employed as a housekeeper at the former Pittsfield General Hospital for 10 years, retiring in 1976. She had previously worked at Berkshire Woolen Mills.
She enjoyed playing cards and bingo.
Her husband, Earl B. Hatch Sr., whom she married Dec. 24, 1930, died May 25, 1989.
She leaves a daughter, Elizabeth J. Mahoney of Pittsfield; two sisters, Eva Barber and Alice Barber, both of Williamstown; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A son, Earl B. Hatch Jr., died Dec. 7, 1993.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday, May 15, at 11 at DERY FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Earl A. Hebert, pastor of Notre Dame Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 10 until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Berkshire United Way in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
