C. Bruce Lepisto, 57, of 1008 Jennifer Lane, Falls Church, Va., formerly of Pittsfield, died Sunday at home of an apparent heart attack.
Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 28, 1944, son of Karl O. Lepisto and Dorothy Stokes Lepisto, he graduated from Pittsfield High School and from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1966.
After graduating from college, Mr. Lepisto was employed with the U.S. Department of Defense in San Francisco and at Wright-Patterson Airfield in Dayton, Ohio. For the past 15 years, he was employed at the Pentagon in Washington.
His closest survivors are two uncles, William Russell Stokes of Pittsfield and Lloyd A. Stokes of Sun City Center, Fla., and an aunt, Aune Conant of Keene, N.H.
There will be no calling hours. Following cremation, a private graveside service will be held in the Pittsfield Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested in Mr. Lepisto's memory to United Methodist Church of Lenox in care of WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201, which is in charge of arrangements.
