James Litourneau

James H. Litourneau Jr., 31, of 313 Tyler St. died Wednesday in Pittsfield.
Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 4, 1970, son of Elaine Kickery Litourneau Bigelow and the late James H. Litourneau Sr., he was a graduate of Taconic High School.
A veteran of the Persian Gulf War, he served in the Marines.
At the time of his death, he was employed as a purchasing agent for Lakewood Mold & Tool, where he had worked for six years.
He was a member and past commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed riding all-terrain vehicles, hunting and cooking.
Besides his mother, he leaves his stepfather, John R. Bigelow Sr.; three stepbrothers, John R. Bigelow Jr. of Peru, Keith Bigelow of Pittsfield and Blaine Bigelow of Moosup, Conn.; a stepsister, Denise Bigelow of Hinsdale, and his fiancée, Valerie A. Court of Pittsfield.
He also leaves his fiancée's children, Ashley Court and Janelle Court.
A graveside service will be held at Pittsfield Cemetery on Saturday, April 28, at 1 with the Rev. William D. Furey officiating. Those attending are invited to meet inside the cemetery gate at 12:45. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 488 in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
