Alice A. Liccardi

Alice Ann Liccardi, 65, of 60 Dutchess Ave. died Wednesday in Stamford, Vt., at the home of her brother, Frank Alfonso.
Born in Pittsfield on April 10, 1937, daughter of Frank and Domenica Lapi Alfonso, she was a 1954 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
She was employed as a telephone operator at GE and retired in 1986 after 20 years of service. She had also worked as a bookkeeper in her husband's family business, Liccardi Press.
Mrs. Liccardi attended Christian Assembly Church and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies' Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking and traveling.
Besides her brother, she leaves her husband, Anthony J. Liccardi Sr., whom she married March 15, 1957, in Canaan, N.Y.; two sons, Anthony J. Liccardi Jr. of Southboro and Michael F. Liccardi of Pittsfield; a daughter, Lisa A. Liccardi of Plymouth; three other brothers, Anthony Alfonso, Louis Alfonso and Daniel Alfonso, all of Pittsfield, and a grandson. She was predeceased by four brothers.
Funeral services for Mrs. Liccardi will be Saturday, April 27, at 10 at Christian Assembly Church with the Rev. Dean M. Nowotny, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery. Calling hours will be today, Friday, from 5 to 8 at DERY FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northern Berkshire in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
