Shirley A. Bell, 64, of Winter Haven, Fla., a native of Pittsfield, died Friday at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, Fla.
Born Feb. 6, 1938, daughter of Raymond and Orette Duchesneau Mayo, she attended local schools. She moved to Florida in the 1960s.
Mrs. Bell owned and operated Bell Graphics Desktop Publishing for 15 years, retiring in 2001.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist of Winter Haven and Gideons International.
She leaves her husband, Warren Bell, whom she married Oct. 23, 1969; two sons, Raymond Bell of Roanoke, Va., and Russell Hembree of Winter Haven; a stepson, Percy Bell of Longwood, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Dorothy Russ of Titusville, Fla.; two sisters, Pauline Gregory of Summerfield, Fla., and Lucille Lillie of Leesburg, Fla.; three brothers, Raymond Mayo of Rivera Beach, Fla., Bernard Mayo of Auburndale, and Robert Mayo of New York; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
