Mary Aspromonte

Mary W. Aspromonte, 77, of Pembroke Pines, Fla., a native of Lenox, died Feb. 23 in at a hospice house in Pembroke Pines due to respiratory disease.
Born in Pittsfield on Dec. 4, 1924, daughter of G. Russell and Madeline Farnum Wheeler, she graduated from Lenox Memorial High School in 1942. She moved to Florida in 1953.
Mrs. Aspromonte was a former communicant of St. Ann's Church in Lenox and a communicant of St. Bartholomew's Church in Pembroke Pines.
She leaves her husband, Hugo Aspromonte, whom she married in October 1953, in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania; a daughter, Daya LaRocque of Leesburg, Fla.; four sisters, Claire Armstrong, M. Ann Ward and Barbara Sibley, all of Lenox, and Elizabeth Harrison of Pittsfield; two brothers, Robert Wheeler of Lenox and Richard Wheeler of Pittsfield, and two grandchildren.
