Christine Alice Molleur, 55, of 423 Hubbard Ave. died yesterday at home after a long illness.
Born in Pittsfield on Nov. 2, 1946, daughter of Charles J. and Alice Brown Grizey, she was a 1965 graduate of Pittsfield High School and a graduate of the former Pittsfield Vocational School of Nursing.
A licensed practical nurse for more than 30 years, Mrs. Molleur had worked at Berkshire Place until December. She also was employed by Berkshire Medical Center for 10 years and had worked at various nursing homes.
She enjoyed flea markets and crafts.
She leaves her husband, Wayne G. Molleur Sr., whom she married Oct. 18, 1969; two sons, Wayne G. Molleur Jr. of Adams and Eric D. Molleur of Dorchester; two brothers, Larry E. Grizey of Revere and Paul A. Grizey of Randolph; a sister, Jean C. Molleur of Pittsfield, and two granddaughters. She was predeceased by a brother, Charles J. Grizey.
The funeral will be Wednesday, March 20, at 2 at DERY FUNERAL HOME, with the Rev. Michael A. Shershanovich, pastor of St. Joseph's Church, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 1 to 2 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
