Joan Marie Myers, 51, of 353 Cheshire Road died Tuesday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on July 3, 1950, daughter of Francis P. and Rosella M. Wall McGee of Pittsfield, she was a 1968 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
She was employed as deli manager of Price Chopper in Pittsfield for 20 years. She retired in 1994 due to ill health.
She was a member of the Holy Family Church Mothers Guild, the Better Breathers Club, and belonged to a quilting club that met every other week. She was a former member of the Pittsfield Exchange Club.
Besides her parents, she leaves two sisters, Carole M. Braund of Virginia and Phyllis A. Middlebrook of Pittsfield, and a brother, James P. McGee of Jacksonville, Fla. She was predeceased by a nephew, Phillip D. Braund.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 16, at 8:15 from DERY FUNERAL HOME with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 at St. Francis Xavier Church, celebrated the Rev. Paul A. Bombardier, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
