William J. Kinsella

William J. Kinsella, 84, of 80 Maple Grove Drive died yesterday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Aug. 4, 1917, son of Charles and Florence Trainor Kinsella, he was a 1935 graduate of Pittsfield High School. He also graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and received his professional engineer's license.
He was employed as an engineer for Beloit Corp. of Dalton, beginning with the E.D. Jones Division, for 30 years, retiring in 1970.
A communicant of St. Joseph's Church, Mr. Kinsella was a former member of its Holy Name Society. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a fourth degree knight. He enjoyed carpentry, woodworking and golf.
He leaves a brother, Edward L. Kinsella of Pittsfield, and a sister, Florence K. Kinsella, with whom he lived.
Funeral services will be Friday at 8:15 at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 at St. Joseph's Church with the Rev. Michael Shershanovich, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Church Improvement Fund or the charity of one's choice in care of the funeral home.
