Anna Jablonski

Anna H. Jablonski, 85, 46 Stratford Ave. died Sunday at home.
Born in Schenectady, N.Y., on Dec. 16, 1916, daughter of John M. and Sophie Raczkowski Jablonski, she moved to Pittsfield as a young girl and attended the former Bartlett and Tucker schools. She was a 1934 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Miss Jablonski was employed as a secretary at the GE power transformer department for 44 years, retiring in 1981.
She was a communicant of Holy Family Church and enjoyed traveling throughout Europe, Japan and Hong Kong in her younger years. She also enjoyed reading, listening to music, crocheting and knitting.
She leaves a sister, Florence M. Korvell of Kirkland, Wash. She was predeceased by her three brothers, John V. Jablonski, Robert A. Jablonski and Joseph D. Myles.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME, with the Rev. James K. Joyce, pastor of Sacred Heart Church, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home.
