Patricia Lee Strizzi, 52, of 141 Allengate Ave. died yesterday at home after a long illness.
Born in Pittsfield on May 22, 1949, daughter of Joseph J. Strizzi Jr. and the late Virginia Lee Strizzi, she attended local schools and was a 1967 graduate of St. Joseph's High School. She received her associate's degree in nursing from Berkshire Community College in 1970.
Miss Strizzi was employed in the maternity ward at Berkshire Medical Center for more than 20 years.
She enjoyed folk art, animals and old movies.
Besides her father of Pittsfield, she leaves her stepmother, Mary Terese Keegan Clark Strizzi of Pittsfield; a sister, Kathleen Strizzi of Pittsfield; a stepsister, Carol Tierney of Pittsfield, and three stepbrothers, John Clark and Peter Clark, both of Pittsfield, and Paul Clark of Agawam. She is predeceased by her mother, Virginia Lee Strizzi, on July 30, 1965, and her stepbrother, James Clark Jr., on Jan. 13, 2002.
Following cremation, private burial will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. A memorial Mass will be held at a date to be announced at St. Charles' Church. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires and the Pittsfield Fire Department, in care of the DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME, which is handling the arrangements.
