Robert Bouquet

Robert Edward Bouquet, 61, of 79 McArthur St. died Sunday at home after a long illness.
Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 6, 1940, son of the late Joseph E. and Mary O'Hara Bouquet, he attended local schools and was a 1958 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mr. Bouquet was employed as the produce manager at the former First National Market for 16 years and at the former Adams Supermarket in Lee for 16 years. He was most recently employed as the produce manager at the New Lebanon Supermarket in New Lebanon, N.Y., from 1986 until retiring in 2000.
He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and a member of the Great Barrington Sportsman's Club. He enjoyed playing golf and was a 25-year member of the Monday Night Golf League at Pontoosuc Lake Country Club.
He leaves his wife, the former Sheila A. Britton, whom he married April 28, 1962; a son, Robert E. Bouquet Jr. of Pittsfield, and a brother, Joseph A. Bouquet of Pittsfield.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. from DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, celebrated by the Rev. Michael Shershanovich, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his memory may be made to the Jimmy Fund or to Hospice Care of the Berkshires, both in care of Dery Funeral Home.
