Rosamond Hall

Rosamond Cooper Morse Hall, 99, a native of Lenox, died Feb. 1 at the home of her daughter, of Sugar Hill, N.H.
Born on July 27, 1902, daughter of Thomas S. and Jessie Cooper Morse, she was a 1920 graduate of Lenox High School.
During the 1920s, she was employed by the Lenox Library for a short time before her marriage.
She resided in Nantucket for many years until moving to a retirement community in Holland, Pa., in 1987. She moved to New Hampshire a year ago.
While in Nantucket, she was a past regent of the Abiah Franklin Folger chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of the Nantucket Garden Club. She enjoyed gardening and kept an English garden at her Nantucket home.
Her husband, Alfred A. Hall, died in 1970.
She leaves her twin daughters, Rosemary Hall Evans and Rosamond Hall Norton of Harwinton, Conn., six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Darwin S. Morse of Richmond.
A memorial service at a time to be announced in the spring will be held at the Church on the Hill, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nantucket Conservation Fund in care of ROCHE FUNERAL HOME, 120 Main St., Lenox, MA 01240, which is in charge of arrangements.
