Anisa Margaret Abdallah, 52, of Marbleton, Ga., formerly of Pittsfield, died Tuesday after a brief illness.
Born in Boston on May 27, 1949, daughter of Dorothy Badir Ameen Ali and the late Hajj Isa A. Ali, she graduated from Pittsfield High School. She also graduated from LeBarron Beauty Academy. She moved to Georgia three years ago.
Mrs. Abdallah was most recently employed as an office manager at Audibel Hearing Center in Marietta, Ga. She also had operated businesses in Ocean City, Md., and in Atlanta.
Besides her mother of Pittsfield, she leaves a daughter, Yasmine Hanrahan of Beaufort, S.C.; a son, Samir Abdallah of Smyrna, Ga.; a brother, Faisal Ali of Pittsfield; a sister, Lisa Ali of San Francisco, and three grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, Feb. 9, from 2 to 4 at AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be at a later date in the family plot in Southview Cemetery in North Adams.
