Patricia Driscoll

Patricia H. Driscoll, 68, of 82 Lenox Ave. died Monday at Berkshire Medical Center.

Born in Pittsfield on July 10, 1933, daughter of Wilfred and Mary Ryder Langlois, she attended local schools and was a 1952 graduate of Pittsfield High School.

Mrs. Driscoll was employed in the main plant mailroom at General Electric Co. prior to her marriage. She later worked as a unit secretary at Berkshire Medical Center from 1979 until her retirement in 1985.

She was a communicant of St. Charles' Church and a member of the St. Charles' Rosary Society. She also was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the American Legion Pitch League.

She leaves her husband, James J. Driscoll, whom she married July 31, 1954, in St. Mary's Church; two sons, James L. Driscoll of Dalton and Jack E. Driscoll of Pittsfield; four daughters, Jeannie M. Poplaski of North Adams, and Judy A. Lampiasi, Joan C. Penna and Janice L. Carnute, all of Pittsfield; two brothers, Neal Langlois and Richard Langlois, both of Pittsfield, and 17 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan. 24, at 10:15 a.m. from DWYER FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial in 11 a.m. in St. Charles' Church, celebrated by the Rev. Peter A. Gregory, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will be at DWYER FUNERAL HOME Wednesday, Jan. 23, from 4 to 7 p.m. If friends desire, donations may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association in care of Dwyer Funeral Home in her memory.
