Wynne Arlene Monterosso, 66, of River Run Apartments died Saturday at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Pittsfield on July 17, 1935, daughter of Edward and Virginia Sweener Brockway, she was a 1953 graduate of Pittsfield High School. She had resided in Dalton since 1994.
Primarily a homemaker, she was employed by the Value Mart, England Brothers, Dearstyne Brothers and Newberry's stores.
She enjoyed reading, classical music and painting.
She leaves her husband, Vito C. Monterosso, whom she married Feb. 11, 1956; a daughter, LeeAnn Madden of Derry, N.H.; two sons, Jeffrey A. Monterosso of Alaska and Bruce D. Monterosso of the state of Florida; two sisters, Phyllis Jones of Wisconsin and Sandra Brockway of Wrentham; two brothers, Edward Brockway Jr. of Lanesboro and Howard Brockway of Pittsfield, and three grandchildren.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, Jan. 19, at 9 a.m. at St. Agnes' Church, Dalton, celebrated by the Rev. John A. Koonz, pastor. Burial will be at a later date in Ashuelot Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Monterosso may be made to the Berkshire Visiting Nurse Association in care of DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 Main St., Dalton, MA 01226.
