Judith E. Lyon, 56, of 51 Leona Drive died yesterday at home.
Born in Pittsfield on Nov. 26, 1945, daughter of Baptiste and Lucy Bettega Nolli, she attended local schools.
She was employed at her family's business, Linden Street Laundromat, for 14 years. Previously, she had been employed by A.H. Rice Corp. for six years and by GE for three years.
Mrs. Lyon enjoyed cooking and summer trips to Maine.
She leaves her husband, Richard P. Lyon, whom she married July 2, 1966; two daughters, Colleen M. Lekov and Gail A. Jones, both of Pittsfield; a sister, Shirley A. Lyon of Pittsfield; a brother, Richard A. Nolli of Pittsfield, and five grandchildren. Predeceased by a brother, Michael B. Nolli.
The funeral will be Monday, Jan. 14, at 10 at First Baptist Church in Pittsfield with the Rev. Dr. Robert M. Rennie, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Pittsfield Cemetery. Calling hours at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME will be Sunday, Jan. 13, from 4 to 7. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
