Milton Musbach

Milton W. Musbach, 76, of Deltaville, Va., formerly of Pittsfield, died Dec. 22 at Walter Reed Convalescent Center in Gloucester, Va.
Born in Middletown, N.Y., on July 9, 1925, son of William H. and Clara L. Musbach, he attended Brown University in Providence, R.I., and graduated from Union College in Schenectady, N.Y., with a degree in electrical engineering.
Mr. Musbach was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Formerly of Pittsfield and Becket, he retired in 1987 from General Electric Co. after 37 years of service as a circuit design engineer. He and his wife moved to Deltaville in 1987 to enjoy sailing.
Mr. Musbach was a member of the International Institute of Electrical Engineers and a certified scuba diving instructor. A ham radio enthusiast since the age of 14, he was a charter member of the Middlesex Amateur Radio Group in Deltaville and a member of Philippi Christian Church there.
He leaves his wife of 53 years, Ethel Hale Musbach; two sons, Donald R. Musbach of Montreal and Richard P. Musbach of Springfield, Vt.; a sister, Betty Colby of Richmond, Va., and a granddaughter.
