Philip D. Wooliver

Philip D. "Tink" Wooliver, 74, of 37 Glenn Drive died Friday at home.
Born in Pittsfield on July 8, 1927, son of Philip E. and Henrietta Schaefer Wooliver, he attended local schools. He had resided in Lanesboro for many years before moving to Pittsfield 18 years ago.
He was a World War II Navy veteran.
Mr. Wooliver was president and treasurer of D.J. Wooliver & Sons Inc., retiring in 1999 after 55 years with the roofing business.
He was a member of Mystic Lodge AF&AM and Berkshire Commandery 22 Knights Templar.
He and his wife, the former Sheila A. Rohan, were married Sept. 30, 1950.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Michael P. Wooliver of Lanesboro; a daughter, Susan Wooliver Coppola of Millbury; a sister, June Wooliver-Wortman of Hedgesville, W.Va., and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 11 at DWYER FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Russell Moody of Pittsfield Church of Christ. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Lanesboro. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday, Jan. 8, from 4 to 7. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in care of the funeral home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.
