JJanet H. Green, 53, of 102 West St., Medway, a native of Pittsfield, died Thursday at home after a brief illness.
Born July 25, 1948, daughter of Robert M. and Jeanne Morey Howes, she attended local schools and graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst with a bachelor of science degree in dietetics.
Mrs. Green was employed as a dietitian at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston and had worked for H&R Block Co., The Winthrop Group and Anderson Insurance Co. She also was an analyst for Fidelity Investments.
She leaves her husband, Leslie A. Green; a son, Robert E. Green of Medway, and a daughter, Ruth E. Green of Medway.
The funeral will be tomorrow, Jan. 8, at 10 at GINLEY CROWLEY FUNERAL HOME, 3 Barber St., Medway. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Lenox. Calling hours will be tonight from 7 to 9. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the American Lung Association, 25 Spring St., Walpole, MA 02081, or to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 101 First Ave., Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02154.
