Barbara Ann Asta, 52, of Memorial Drive died Saturday evening at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on June 12, 1949, daughter of Basil and Natalie Malczynski LaTorre, she attended schools there and graduated from high school in 1966.
She was a homemaker most of her life and made her home in Pittsfield in 1992.
She leaves three sons, Anthony J. Asta of Freehold, N.J., Michael A. Asta of Long Beach, Long Island, N.Y., and Christopher Hairston of Pittsfield; a daughter, Melanie D. Asta of Pittsfield; a brother, Basil LaTorre of Stroudsberg, Pa.; five sisters, Susan Villalie, Antoniette Finizio and Evelyn Dreher, all of Stroudsberg, and Carol LaTorre and Helen LaTorre, both of Brooklyn; and a granddaughter, Alyvia Asta
Relatives and friends may call at the ROCHE FUNERAL HOME in Lenox Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral and burial will be private.
