Harry R. Wilson

Harry R. Wilson, 70, of Epworth Arms, 350 West St., died Friday evening at Berkshire Medical Center.
Born in Great Barrington on Oct. 30, 1931, son of Charles L. and Anna Bocock Wilson, he grew up on Church Street in Stockbridge and was a 1952 graduate of the former Williams High School.
In his earlier years, he traveled the country. He lived for several years in Atlantic City, N.J., where he worked in the restaurant business. He returned to the area in 1970 and lived with his late sister, Margaret Page, in Lenox and in Pittsfield.
Mr. Wilson was a former member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Stockbridge. For the past seven years, he was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous and volunteered at the Alcoholics Anonymous Berkshire Intergroup.
He leaves four nephews, Robert C. Page and Charles R. Wilson, both of Pittsfield, Hugh I. Page of Richmond and David W. Page Sr. of West Stockbridge, as well as several great-nieces and -nephews.
Following cremation, there will be a private graveside service. A reception for all who would like to share their memories of Harry will be held Saturday, Dec. 29, from 1 to 4 at Epworth Arms, 350 West St., Pittsfield. ROCHE FUNERAL HOME, 120 Main St., Lenox, is in charge of arrangements.
