Ralph C. Lincoln, 76, formerly of Columbus Arms Apartments, died yesterday at the Center for Optimum Care in Pittsfield.
Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 17, 1925, son of Leopold and Mabel Wilson Lincoln, he attended local schools and graduated from Pittsfield High School.
He served in the Army during World War II.
Mr. Lincoln was a self-employed painter. He also had been employed by the Hilton Hotel and as a taxi driver.
He leaves a son, Richard J. Lincoln of Palmer; a daughter, Kimberly L. Ruiz of Palmer; a brother, Almon K. Lincoln of Pittsfield; a sister, Daryl E. Marty of Dennis, and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 220 East St., Pittsfield, on Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in the Pittsfield Cemetery. Calling hours will be at the funeral home on Monday from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral.
