Marguerite Odette Jacoby, 94, of Providence Care Center, 320 Pittsfield Road, died Monday at Providence Care Center.
Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 11, 1907, daughter of Joseph J. and Celena Goodrich Odette, she was a 1925 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Jacoby was employed as a legal secretary for 43 years.
She was a lifelong communicant of St. Mark's Church and a member of its rosary sodality. She also was a member of the Friends of Dehon Seminary of the Order of the Sacred Heart.
Her husband, Alfred Jacoby, whom she married Sept. 11, 1929, died Feb. 2, 1993.
Her closest survivors are several nieces and nephews, including Marguerite Kirchner Kirby of Dalton.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. Jacoby will be held Friday, Dec. 14, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, celebrated by the Rev. Michael A. Shershanovich, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Friday morning from 8:45 to 9:45 at DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield.
